NDC’s Dzifa Gomashie loses husband

The NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Ketu South Constituency in the 2020 elections, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has lost her husband.

The queen-mother in the Aflao Traditional Area, late husband, Brigadier General Martin K.G Ahiaglo (Rtd) passed after battling ailment for some months.

The late Brig. Gen. Martin Ahiaglo until his retirement from the Military was the General Officer Commanding, GOC, of the Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces.

He was later appointed as the Acting Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) by former President John Dramani Mahama.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a school bus of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) fully loaded with students has burnt beyond recognition while travelling on the road.

The bus reportedly caught fire on the road while conveying some Level 300 students from the university's campus at Fiapre near Sunyani to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
