Former Capital Bank employee reveals challenges after losing job

- A former employee of the collapsed Capital Bank, Christina Larbi, has opened up on personal experiences after losing her job

- According to her, the job loss was unexpected and became the lowest moment in her life

- She added that two of her colleagues lost their lives after the bank's collapse

A former employee of the collapsed Capital Bank, Christina Larbi, has shared her story in a video.

Larbi, who reveals that she had been working for 10 years prior to the bank’s collapse, added that life has been challenging.

A mother of a 7-year-old daughter, she went on to say that the unexpected layoff was frustrating and eventually became the most difficult period in her life.

According to her, Capital Bank gave the affected employees dismissal letters and a month’s salary.

Per a video obtained from citinewsroom.com, she revealed that she wished she learned a trade earlier, as it would have eliminated most of her challenges.

Larbi further stated that she knows two of her colleagues from the collapsed bank have already lost their lives.

One of them, Geoffrey Dotse, was her boss, and his dismissal reportedly affected a majority of them.

The reason, she added, was because he was very hardworking.

In other news, social media users have expressed surprise at the pricing strategy used by a restaurant located at East Legon in Accra.

Information gathered shows that Villandro sells a ball of kenkey with mackerel and one egg at GHc50. In a post online, the restaurant indicated that its pepper is lethal and it’s not for the fainthearted.

It has however stirred controversy online as several social media users have reacted to the news
