Kumawood actress Benedicta Gafah has, for the first time, spoken on reports that she had an operation to enhance her body.
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, Gafah has flatly denied such reports, stressing that she was born heavily endowed.
She was speaking with a group of students in the video, where she was answering a couple of questions from them.
Talking about the issue, Gafah said that as a child, she had curves that had many people admiring her.
She added that everyone changes when they are growing up and that is what happened in her case – her curves were also forming as she grew.
The actress also said she is one who takes very good care of herself, especially, her body, therefore, she would definitely look good.
She also revealed that anytime she gains weight, it is her backside that increases more; therefore, she checks her weight very well to stay in shape.
Gafah added that she has very soft skin therefore, afraid to go under the knife for body enhancement, therefore, she finds it funny when people make such claims about her.
Her explanations drew applause from the students she had met with.
The actress then advised them to go ahead and have operations to enhance their looks if that is what would make them happy.
“So if you want to do the operation, you can do it if that is what will make you happy, but for me, my body is soft,” Gafah said.
She concluded by saying that not everyone in the industry with huge back and curves went through an operation, adding that some were born naturally with it.
The actress has often been in the news for being criticised for wearing visibly fake backside in an earlier report by YEN.com.gh.
