T-Pain narrates how he went from having $40m to nothing

- Popular American rapper, T-Pain, has revealed how he went from being $40 million rich to having nothing

- One of the bad money decisions, the artiste made was getting a Bugatti and selling off at giveaway price when one its radiators got faulty

- T-Pain also made horrible investment in real estate, buying house that he could not later sell because they were in a very bad neighbourhood in South Florida

American popular rapper, T-Pain, has shared a great story on The Breakfast Club show about the rough ride he had with his finance.

In a cautionary tale on spending, the rapper recalled how he went from having $40 million to nothing due to bad spending and ill-informed investments.

One of the very first expensive things he got was he Bugatti he spent $1.2 million on and had to change five months later for peanuts because he made a hole in one its four radiators.

According to him, he said when one of the quad-radiators gets faulty, the whole set has to be changed, and just had to let it go, selling it to a dealership.

When asked on the show if there was any investment he made apart from the spending spree, he said he made some bad real estate dealings that went bad.

T-Pain went on to say that he went his manager was “way more optimistic” than he was, which led them to buying dumps in slums that could not cash out on when it was realised they were just a bunch of crack houses.

He also said he bought many houses and was not paying attention to his account draining fast even when his accountant asked him to slow down a bit after the Bugatti’s purchase.

During the show, he said that not having to deal with his account directly made the frivolous spending easy.
