Bad roads to soon be thing of the past; Akufo-Addo promises good roads everywhere in Ghana

- Akufo-Addo has said that his government is taking major steps to ensure that all bad roads across the country are fixed

- He mentioned the construction of the interchange as one of the many projects meant to give a face-lift to the roads in Ghana

- The president said the face-lift would ensure that there are good roads at all times

President Akufo-Addo has said that his government is taking major steps to ensure that all bad roads across the country are fixed.

According to President Akufo-Addo, road projects are currently being undertaken to ensure that every part of the country has quality roads.

The President made this revelation during the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the US$135 million Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange in Accra, on Monday, October 21, 2019.

“We are tackling critical road projects in a holistic manner to ensure that every part of the country has quality all weather roads,” Nana Addo said.

Akufo-Addo said his government is committed to addressing the problem of deplorable roads across the country.

He mentioned the construction of the interchange as one of the many projects meant to give a face-lift to the roads in Ghana.

In other news, Former Power Minister and Member of Parliament for Ellembelle constituency, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, has explained that the country risks going back to 'dumsor' over the terminated PDS deal.

He warned the government to take steps to remedy the situation over this PDS deal before things get out of hand.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, he said the NPP government has messed up the deal which was beautifully started by the NDC government.
