Meat vendor caught spraying meat with insecticide in market (video)

In a recent video that has raged many social media users, a market woman was seen spraying meat with insecticide to get rid of flies.

The video was taken by a random stranger who was shocked by the observation

He stated in the video that he complained about the action to the market woman but it all landed on deaf ears.

In a report by OMGvoice.com, this has not been the first disturbing incident of issues related to food. In another video, water from the gutter was used by a woman to wash carrots she was selling.

Authorities must take some action against these market women to stop this act. Insecticides are known to be very poisonous.

They are prohibited from being disposed of in a manner in which they can end up in aquatic habitats.

Insecticides are poisonous to most living organisms including humans.

In yet a different account, another person was also captured as she spat on farm products with the intent to increase sales.

In another story, shop owners at the Accra Mall have closed down their shops in the interim, following working conditions they have labeled as poor.
