Health officer struggles to deliver health services in Ashanti region (Photo)

- A community health nurse, Kwabena Affum, has shared photos to reveal challenges he faces in the course of his work

- In the photos, he is seen struggling to drive a motorbike loaded with items to some parts of the Ashanti region

- He added that despite the challenges he continues to perform his duties

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that getting medical supplies to some parts of the Ashanti regions comes with great challenges.

A community health nurse known as Kwabena Affum shared photos to show what he goes through in a bid to perform his functions.

He revealed that the bad road network is located in the Sekyere Afram Plains and he was heading to a child welfare clinic at the Konfeni and Yakubu communities.

Affum added that even in such circumstances, people like him still try to deliver to health services despite the fact that they are not recognized.

In other news, Rwanda has launched a public exercise programme aimed at improving the health of pregnant women.

YEN.com.gh understands that the women revealed they enjoyed the programme so much that they are looking forward to the next one.

According to the organizers of the event, they hope to change the myth about the bodies of pregnant women.

This, they explained, is because it is believed that a pregnant woman needs to halt every activity that involves physical effort.
