Regina Chika Austin, the 2018 winner of the University of Cape Coast's beauty pageant, Miss UCC, has passed away leaving family and friend in tears.

Chika Austin is reported to have died on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

Information gathered by YEN.com.gh indicates that she had been suffering from an ailment for some time.

Born on October 19 Chika Austin only celebrated her birthday a few days ago.

It was her 22nd birthday.

She was in her final year at UCC before her untimely death.

Chika Austin had ambitions of becoming a top model.

Following her win, Chika had wanted to join the 2019 edition f the Miss Malaika pageant to further her ambitions.

And from her photos it is obvious that she would have had success.

It is such a pity that she had to leave the earth this early.
