- The ladies who accused Davido of getting one of them pregnant, have issued an apology
- In a new video, the ladies explained that they only wanted to congratulate him in their own way
- They also stated that they never wanted to ruin his image and only wanted him to notice them
Earlier on, YEN.com.gh. reported the news of how a video surfaced of two ladies accusing the music star of putting one of them in the family way. Helen, who is the sister of the lady allegedly carrying the singer's child, Susan, stated that the singer has denied the pregnancy.
Following the attention the video received, the ladies have once again taken to social media to retract their statements. In the new video which has since gone viral, the ladies who appear to have lost their bravado, stated they didn't think the video would go viral.
According to them, the video was their own unique way of congratulating the singer on the birth of his newborn with chef girlfriend, Chioma. They revealed that they never wanted to trample on his image and only did to get his attention.

Their apology comes barely hours after the super star singer and father of four, took to social media to vow that he would send the ladies to jail for the accusations they made.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have since reacted to the video, condemning the behaviour of the ladies whom they described as 'clout chasers'.
A Nigerian pilot identified as Arinze Odira has taken to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to appeal to singer Davido to prosecute the young ladies that falsely accused him of impregnating one of them.
