Kind Ghanaian police officer gives scholarship to jailed trainee nurse who stole money to pay school fees

A benevolent Ghanaian senior police officer who does not want his identity disclosed has paid the admission fee for a student nurse, Alice Bonye, who was dismissed for non-payment.

According to Crime Check TV, the senior police officer paid an amount of GHc 5,000.00 to enable Alice Bonye to return to school.

Crime Check TV also disclosed that Alice Bonye, who is a second-year student of Tamale Nursing Training College, wanted to enroll in a private nursing institution to start all over again after she served a six-month jail term for stealing money to pay her fees.

''A senior police officer who wants to remain anonymous has paid the admission fee of five thousand cedis for dismissed student nurse, Alice Bonye to go back to school. Miss Bonye, a second-year student of Tamale Nursing Training College had told Crime Check TV that she wanted to enroll in a private nursing institution to start all over again after she was jailed 6 months for stealing money to pay her fees,'' Crime Check TV stated in a post on Facebook.

And further expressed ''many thanks to the senior police officer for putting smiles on the face of Miss Bonye whose determination despite the odds has seen her through another chapter in her life. CCF also donated some toiletries to Alice to support her in her re-established adventure. We wish her well.''
