NorthEast United: Asamoah Gyan rewarded with GHC3,874 for emerging Man of the Match(Video)

The football man of the moment, Asamoah Gyan, had celebrated his first goal for his new team NorthEast United, in Indian.
He scored against Odisha in the match played over the weekend.
The goal was all the team needed to win the match and Gyan performed that much-needed miracle.

He was thus adjudged the hero of the match and presented with 50,000 Indian Rupees.
YEN.com.gh’s checks with the currency converter revealed that that amount amounted to approximately GHC3,874.

The General Captain of the Black Stars shared a video to his Instagram page to celebrate the feat, and many of his fans have praised him.
Comedian DKB, for instance, said Gyan is talented and will go places:
dkbghana: “This young man @asamoah_gyan3 has great talent and he will go places. Just keep the focus and work harder.”
Opare observed that Gyan is a goal master and scores wherever he goes:
opare4_official: “@asamoah_gyan3 MTN everywhere you go u dey do your thing fast fast more goals.”
Gilbert urged Asamoah Gyan to keep it up:
king_gilbert7: “Wow keep it up ♥️.”

Ormott also described Gyan as a champion striker:

Kofi made a prayer for him:

Meanwhile, Gyan was in the news recently following his marriage saga with his wife Gifty Gyan.
The court ruled and ordered him to pay an amount to her as maintenance fee.
