Kennedy Osei: Adisadel College honours eldest son of Despite after receiving 40 Under 40 award

Kennedy Asante Osei, the General Manager of the Despite Group of Companies and an alumnus of Adisadel College has been honoured by his alma mater after he received an award at the 2019 edition of Forty Under 40 Awards.

The reputable Forty Under 40 Awards identifies, honours and celebrates forty emerging leaders under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their careers and committed to business growth aimed at impacting their communities.

Kennedy Asante Osei, who is the eldest son of Dr Osei Kwame ‘Despite’ received the Excellence in Family Business Leadership award at the 2019 edition of the esteemed Forty Under 40 Awards which came off on October 4, 2019, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra.

Adisadel College, the alma mater of the exceptionally inspiring young Ghanaian, took to Twitter to celebrate Asante Osei for his achievement.

''Today we honor Kennedy Asante Osei eldest son of Despite, a proud santaclausian (2007 year group) and once an entertainment prefect in Adisco. He was conferred with the Excellence in Family Business Leadership award at The Forty under 40 Award,'' the post said on Twitter.

As General Manager, Kennedy Asante Osei oversees Okay FM, Neat FM, Peace FM, Hello FM, UTV and the very popular Peacefmonline.com portal.

In other stories, the Apostolic Church Ghana, Adentan Central Assembly, has honoured 100-year-old Mama Mary Kwame aka Adjourni for her unrivalled contribution towards the church during its early formation.

Mama Mary Kwame received a citation from the church in recognition of her ''contribution and selfless dedication'' especially for giving her ''house for the establishment of the Adentan Central Central Assembly.''
