Some customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited in Adum, in the Ashanti Region have queued up at the company’s office to validate their documents for onward settlement of locked up funds.

According to 3news.com anxious customers had lined-up at the Adum branch of the company before 9am Monday, October 28.
The report say the customers were carrying their documents in brown envelopes.

Menzgold on Wednesday, October 24 announced that it will begin validation of customers from Monday, October 28 to Thursday, November 28 in order to achieve a “desired outcome” of settling them all.
The exercise will take place across four designated centers in the country - Greater Accra, Central, Western and Ashanti regions.
The validation will see a presentation of photocopies of gold-trading agreements, receipts as well as any valid national ID card by each customer.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghana’s parliament on Friday, October 25 approved visa waiver deal to six countries.
According to a publication by Ghanaweb, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway submitted the paperwork to parliament for approval.
