Mahama lauds Akufo-Addo for completing one of his projects

Former President John Dramani Mahama has lauded the efforts of the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for completing the Adaklu Senior High School in the Volta region.

Mahama said education remained the key to opening up societies for rapid development and praised the government highly for finishing construction works on the project started by his administration.

Former president Mahama said this in an address delivered on his behalf by Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Kwame Agbodza, at Goeviwo festival durbar at Adaklu Goefe in the Volta Region.

Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta regional minister, asked the people to live in unity because it was a prerequisite for any meaningful development.

He also asked them to rally behind the government saying "the government will not leave the people of Adaklu out of its development plan."

In other news, the Apostolic Church Ghana, Adentan Central Assembly, has honoured 100-year-old Mama Mary Kwame aka Adjourni for her unrivalled contribution towards the church during its early formation.

Mama Mary Kwame received a citation from the church in recognition of her ''contribution and selfless dedication'' especially for giving her "house for the establishment of the Adentan Central Central Assembly.''
