He made this known when he paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.
The meeting afforded him the opportunity to enquire from Madam Ayorkor Botchwey about progress that has been made to grant diplomatic clearance for Pakistan’s navy and hospital ships that are expected to arrive at the port of Tema by the end of November 2019.
He revealed that the hospital ship is bringing along medical doctors, medical equipment and drugs to provide free medical services to the people of Ghana
Ambassador Kingravi added that all medical tests and surgeries that would be carried out on Ghanaians would be free.
The Ministries of Health and Defence have however been notified about the need to issue the clearance.
According to the Ambassador, the ships are already on the way, but the Minister promised to expedite action on getting the clearance.
In other news, a social media user with the user name thebodjona, has recounted how he was scammed by the Accra Technical University during an award ceremony.
Believed to be a former student of the university, Jona said he won an award and was presented with a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
However, he got home only to realise that it was a 17-inch second-hand TV in the 32-inch TV box.
