Obrafour, known in real life as Kwabena Okyere Darko, in an interview on Adom FM said though he has several songs to his name, he hardly goes back to listen to them.
The ‘Rap Sofour’ added that he only listens to his songs if he has to rehearse for a show or an event.
“I don’t listen to my own songs unless I have to practice for a show. Listening to my own songs doesn’t allow me to improve my lyrics,” the ‘Yaanom’ hitmaker disclosed.
By far, he is recognized as one of the hiplife artistes who has not used any sexually suggestive or profane lyrics since he started show business over 20 years ago.
He has in the past produced some timeless and thought-provoking songs like ‘Kwame Nkrumah’, ‘Ako’, ‘Heavy’, ‘Still Strong’, ‘Asem Beba Dabi’ and ‘Yaanom’ among others.
The legendary rapper on May 29, 2019, launched his ‘Pae Mu Ka @20’ anniversary celebrations and has lined up a number of activities, with a concert to climax the anniversary on November 9, 2019, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
