Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, says the election of a new Ghana Football Association (GFA) president marks a new beginning for the sport in Ghana.

The Shatta Movement boss made this declaration when he paid a courtesy call on the new GFA boss, Kurt Okraku, on November 1, 2019, at his office.
Shatta Wale said he met with the GFA boss to discuss issues concerning how to move football in Ghana to the next level.
He stated that he and the GFA president also spent time to deliberate on how to empower the youth in Ghana as well.
“It's a dawn of a new beginning for Ghana football! I had a great time with the newly elected GFA President, Kurt E.S Okraku, discussing how to empower the youth and move Ghana football to the next level!,” the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker posted on his Facebook page.
He also shared amazing pictures of himself engaging with Okraku and his team.
Shatta Wale was in the news recently, admitting that he wanted to do business with rapper Sarkodie.
This, according to many, was a humble way of calling a truce between the ‘Saara’ hitmaker and himself.
