Benevolent Nigerian actor, Williams Uchemba, has rented an apartment for a physically challenged woman whose husband abandoned her with their seven children.
Reports say the woman has been crippled for the past 4 years and her husband abandoned her because of he disability.
She and her children have had it tough to provide for themselves since the man cowardly abandoned them..
Uchemba reached out to show kindness to the woman through his foundation.
The Nigerian actor took to his Instagram page to announce the act of benevolence and expressed appreciation to Nigerians and his fans for supporting his foundation.
''By the help of the almighty God i am happy to announce that Mrs Patricia has moved into her new home, even though it’s a rented apartment it won’t be for long as we have embarked on building her a house, a property she can call her own and never worry about rent I believe that will be very sustainable for her. And we are also giving her the capital she needs to start up her provision store business,'' Uchemba said in the post on Instagram.
''I want to thank each and everyone that contributed one way or the other wether through service or financial contribution, your N500, N1000 And even more went a long way and I can’t even begin to mention the good news and testimonies we’ve been receiving from some of you guys that have,'' the kind-hearted actor added.
Uchemba further detailed:''My target is to get One million people( on a long term plan) off the street and give them a new life and hope. Meanwhile, Ghana’s Black Stars striker Asmoah Gyan has a lovable personality and it is no surprise that a Ghanaian woman has recently expressed her love for and desire to meet the footballing professional.
Gyan, who currently play as a striker for Northeast United shared a skit of the woman who in an impassioned appeal quizzed about where she would find Ghana’s former captain. In the short video, the woman noted that she really admires Asamoah Djaan.
