Popular Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has spoken against expensive funerals in a recent post on social media.
Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh reports that the post was made after a friend of Yul's approached him seeking money to organize a funeral.
The actor thought about the whole idea of holding expensive funerals and realized something was wrong.
He took to his account @YulEdochie and made his views on the whole issue public.
Yul explained that funerals should not be held to waste funds when those sums of money are not given to people who need it when they are sick.
He described expensively funerals in blunt words, "it is a total waste to me" and continued at another portion to say that "a person should be celebrated when he or she is alive to join in the celebration"

In another story, A 12-year-old boy in Meishan city in south-western China's Sichuan Province has reportedly carried his disabled friend to class every day for six years.
According to the report, it all began when Zhang Ze was diagnosed with an incurable condition, called the ragdoll disease at age four.
