Ghanaian singer, Ms Forson has apologized to Chief Executive of the RuffTown Records, Bullet, for alleging that he forced her to leave her marriage.
In a statement issued on her behalf by her current record label, Black Avenue Muzik, Mz Forson said she had no intentions of bringing Bullet’s reputation into disrepute.
“Firstly these accusations leveled against Ms Forson aren’t founded on her exact wording in these interviews and her intention aren’t to defame Bullet.
We, however, attach copies of her interview with Zionfelix where she duly stated that Bullet advised her against being married and being in the music industry at the same time. She, however, ended her relationship with her ex for her own reasons,” the statement sighted by YEN.com.gh said.
The statement also points out that she never said songs she wrote together with Bullet were given to Wendy Shay. But rather Ms Forson said Bullet was the writer of songs she only contributes little to when she was with RuffTown Records.
“We, however, want to state categorically that statements made by Ms. Forson had and has no malicious intentions as made believed by some parts of the media and unfortunate if it’s regarded as defamatory. Secondly, Ms Forson retracts and duly apologizes to Mr. Ricky Nana Agyeman “Bullet” if any part of her statements during the interviews,”
The statement also disclosed that Ms Forson is an upcoming act who would not want to engage in beefs with others in the entertainment industry, especially Bullet.
Ms Forson, earlier claimed that Bullet forcefully had her divorce her husband of four months. She also said Bullet told her she could not combine marriage and music, therefore, she should opt out.
