Grassroot Ghanaian coach Samuel Taylor gets selected by Arsenal and WorldRemit

Samuel Taylor, a local Ghanaian coach, has had a big breakthrough as he was selected by Arsenal FC and WorldRemit for a youth coaching programme dubbed 'Future Stars'.

From a report gathered by Myjoyonline, 'Future Stars' was set up by a collaboration between the popular football club and the prominent financial institution to identify and impart the lives of young people making a great impact in their grassroots through football.

The second edition took place in 2019 and Samuel was one of 1400 people who started the race that would see only two people win the ultimate prize.

As it stands, Samuel Taylor has made to the finals together with seven other finalists.

When it all started, Samuel, with a great passion for football only, set out to have fun by bringing his fellow mates together and organizing competitions with other groups.

The groups became more and more established and soon, the new hero saw himself coaching under 17, under 15 and under 13 teams.

Samuel does all his coaching activities at the Em Sporting Club.
