Couple celebrates 52 years of marriage with lovely photos

Adorable photos of a couple who have been married for 52 years have caused a stir on the internet.

The identities of the couple are yet to be established and the joy on their faces is enough to conclude they have enjoyed a blissful union.

A social media user, Nurselady McLean-Ford, who posted it online, revealed that the old man and woman seen in the photos are her grandparents.

According to her, their bond remains strong even after several years of marriage and she wishes to let them know that the entire family loves and appreciates them.

She also prayed that she walks in their footsteps so she could also enjoy a marriage like that.

In other news, YEN.com.gh has learned that an 84-year-old Kenyan known as Kimani Ng'ang'a Maruge has gained entry into the Guinness Book of Records.

Maruge has reportedly taken advantage of free elementary education announced by the government in 2003 to enroll as a student.

Information available suggests that he enrolled in the first grade in Kapkenduiywo Primary School in Eldoret, Kenya, on January 12, 2004.

Maruge, who was a model student, was elected as the head boy of the school. Despite the fact that there are no documents to prove his age, Maruge is convinced he was born in 1920.
