With a Bachelor degree in General Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and a Doctor of Medicine degree, she works as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Bell Family Medical Centres in the USA.
In her opinion, the divisions on the African continent are the cause of some of Africa’s present challenges.
For that reason, she went on, there is an urgent need to reunite the African states and Africans in the diaspora.
In other news, a graduate of the medical school of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Jimanatu Gomda, has received five awards.
At the university’s 20th graduation held in Tamale in the Northern region, she picked up the Vice-Chancellor’s prize for the best student in MBChB, the Registrar's prize for the best student in MBChB and the Dean’s prize for the best overall graduating medical student.
Gomda was also awarded the Dr. Sory’s prize for the best all-round graduating medical student and Ghana Medical Association’s prize for the best overall graduating medical student.
