The photograph looks like it was taken more than 10 years ago when Citi FM was in its early days.

The photograph shows how far Bernard Avle and his boss, 'Sammens' have come since the establishment of the organization.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the 2017 GJA Journalist of the Year, Bernard Avle, has revealed that his decision to become a journalist was borne out of a desire to positively impact society through his work.

Expressing his appreciation after being crowned as the ultimate winner at the 23rd Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) annual awards event in Accra, he said his aim was not to receive awards.

“I started as a student journalist, and it wasn’t because I was hoping for an award, but it was because I discovered I could make an impact in my country and society; an impact that is time-tested,” he explained.
