Multimedia apologises to Mahama for 'insulting' him on a live show; Mahama accepts

Multi-media Group Limited, owners of Asempa FM have apologised to former president John Dramani Mahama for the conduct of one of their on-air staff.

Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo Adu, while presenting a programme dubbed 'Kanawu' used unpleasant words to describe ex-president Mahama.

Management of Multimedia has assured Mahama that they have taken the necessary steps to ensure that it does not happen again.

Some Ghanaians reacting to the post were of the view that Mahama did not deserve the apology while others believed it was the right thing to do.

Awal said he doubts if Mahama deserved the apology.

Jerry said the former president should retaliate instead of forgiving Multimedia.

Johnson believes Multimedia's journalism practice is just unthinkable.

In other news, Ghana has signed a 2.3 billion dollar concession agreement for the construction of the Accra Sky Train Project in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The signing of the concession agreement means studies to find out how feasible the project would be, spanning a period of nine months to determine the bankability of the project would begin.

Investors have however assured that the first station for the Accra Sky Train project would be opened in 9 months.
