Biakpa community members pick 'free' goods after fruit-juice vehicle crashes

- Members in the Biakpa community in the Volta region had an 'early Christmas' as a car carrying fruit juice crashed there

- Reports indicate that the truck was moving towards Hohoe when the unfortunate incident happened

- The victims of the accident sustained degrees of injuries, but thankfully there was no fatality

Members in the Biakpa community around the Avatime enclave of the Volta region have experienced a bitter-sweet situation after a truck carrying fruit juice was involved in an accident in their community.

According to Volta 1 TV, the incident which they reported on their Facebook page, occurred as the vehicle owned by Topfood Beverages LTD was on the way to deliver the goods to some shops at Hohoe.

The KIA Rhino truck after getting involved in the accident became a point of attraction for bystanders whose attention was drawn by the crash.

They rushed to the scene and some of them attended to the victims of the accidents who reportedly sustained several degrees of injuries.

As that went on, others took the opportunity to get some good for themselves from the truck that remained unguarded.

It looked like an open market or an early Christmas as many people were captured in pictures moving several fractions of the freight to their homes.

Meanwhile, Facebook users have released amazing pictures from savings they made using their own Piggy banks popularly known in Ghana as 'susu boxes' or 'money boxes'.

This is an annual event that takes place in a popular Facebook group named TroTro Diaries. Pictures from this year's saving have popped on social media recently.
