A co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, is in Ghana and has shared a photo of an appetizing Ghanaian jollof on the social media network.
The food had been served alongside beans stew and pepper sauce garnished with onions.
Dorsey shared the photo with the simple caption: “Ghana jollof”.
However, while some Ghanaians have taken the post to mean that the Twitter co-founder was praising Ghana’s jollof, Nigerian are not happy with it.
They believe the man was being biased and should have rather ranked theirs as the best.
Amaka for instance, said Jack deserved better and must eat Nigerian jollof. She also called Ghanaians stingy because there was no meat on the food:
But Reynell hit back saying the Nigerian jollof looked half-cooked:
Gadgets boy also opined that Nigerian jollof is better:
Richard also wanted to know if Jack had tried Nigerianjollof:
Carter mocked the Nigerians:
Another Nigerian, Vitamins, said what Jack had was not jollof:
Acero also had a similar opinion:
Mrs. Amadi was sad for “poor” Jack for not eating better Nigerian jollof:
Oluwasheyifun also said Nigerian jollof is the best:
Chidi also said nothing beats Nigerian jollof:
Meanwhile, Dorsey is in Ghana as part of his plans to visit some African countries this year.
Also, the jollof war between Ghana and Nigeria has long existed.
In earlier reports by YEN.com.gh, we published how the former UK ambassador to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, rated Ghana jollof as the best over Nigeria's.
We also published how Nigerian superstar Wizkid confessed his love for Ghana jollof upon tasting it.
In a competition held earlier this year, Ghana stood out as the best in jollof over Nigeria.
