Fan Nate Hollander filed a class-action lawsuit against Madonna for pushing back her Madame X Tour concert times.

Court documents showed that Hollander paid around R15 300 for three tickets.

The suit states that Hollander and fellow concertgoers have to go to work and school the next day, so they are unable to attend the show, which would end at around 1am.

The suit further states, "Due to the change in the start times all tickets purchased by Hollander and all class members suffered an extreme loss in value, making it impossible for Hollander and all class members to recover the amount paid for said tickets by reselling them."

Hollander is suing both the sixty-one-year-old performer and Live Nation, the events company that organised the concert.

Madonna addressed her lateness with fans at a concert this past weekend.

She said, "Here's something that you all need to understand. And that is that a queen is never late."

A lot of her fans turned against her and called the statement "disrespectful."

Others defended her and maintained that as their "queen," she can do no wrong.
