According to the residents, the crocodile which was about 8ft long, suddenly disappeared as it crawled back into the marshy lake.

However, social media users who saw pictures of the creature associated various meanings to this strange happening with some saying it was superstitious.

Some stated that these animals are coming out the lake because of how the lake has been polluted.

“The Tadie Lake, which served as a major source of drinking water, has been badly polluted and so it is not surprising to see such animals seeking refuge in our homes since they are now facing extinction,” Kwasi Oppong, a social media user said.

Some religious leaders around the vicinity are reported to have visited the site to perform some rituals to prevent what they describe as an "impending calamity” that may occur in the coming days.

In other news, former player of the Black Stars, Nii Odartey Lamptey, has welcomed his third child, a boy, in addition to his two girls.

This was disclosed by popular football personality, Saddick Adams.

Ghanaians are happy to learn that Odartey has another child he can boldly call his own and have reacted with many congratulatory messages to him.
