YEN.com.gh has sighted a photograph of a woman who is hawking umbrellas being mecilessly beaten by the rains.
OUR MANIFESTO: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
From the photo, shared by a Facebook user by name Lorm Afuti, she looked all drenched as if she had been standing under the open heavens for a very long time.
The interesting thing about the photo is that she could easily shield herself from the rain by simply using one of the umbrellas she was selling.
It indeed speaks to the saying that "possession is not the same as ownership".
It could be that she was in possession of umbrellas for sale to potential customers but it is possible she isn't the owner of the goods she was selling.
In other news, after just a few hours of downpour certain parts of the Accra - Kasoa road were flooded causing a grid-lock of traffic.
The spot which is usually known as a hotspot for flooding even with a 30-minute downpour has again flooded and caused vehicles to get stuck.
It has become worrying for residents that the Ataala area and other areas in Accra would be flooded after a few hours of rainfall.
As usual, Ghanaians who were disgusted by this, took to social media to express their anger and frustration at the government for allowing this to happen.
