Poor orphan who lost her parents at infancy gets scholarship to complete SHS (photos)

- Janet, an orphaned girl has received support to complete Nkwakwa Senior High School

- The teenager lost her parents at a very early age and has since been struggling to cater for her educational needs

At a very tender age, Janet, lost both parents and that was the beginning of her struggles which greatly affected her education while growing up.

In spite of the daunting challenges as an orphan, Janet, braved on to complete junior high school but she would face similar financial setbacks in pursuit of senior high school education.

Janet successfully gained admission to further her studies at the Nkwakwa Senior High School in the Eastern region.

However, the teenager had been faced with the bitter reality of and a possibility of not being able to continue with her education for the 2019 academic year.

Crime Check Foundation stepped in as usual to provide support for the needy orphaned girl with the necessary educational needs to enable her begin school.

The foundation also noted that it ''decided to support Janet till she completes school.''

''Janet lost both parents at an early age. After having gained admission to Nkawkaw Senior High School, there was no one to assist her with the other necessities that will make life bearable for her in school, so she decided to commit suicide. Her story got to us, and through our cherished donors, we have been able to buy all that she needs. CCF has also decided to support Janet till she completes school. May Allah bless all those who contributed to this worthy course,'' a statement by Crime Check TV said on Facebook.

Meanwhile, legendary Chinese film actor, martial artist and film producer, Li Lianjie famed as Jet Li and the Founder of the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Group, Jack Ma, have arrived in Ghana for the Africa Netpreneurship Summit.

Jet Li and Jack Ma landed in the country on Friday, November 14, 2019 to participate in the maiden edition of the Africa Netpreneurship Summit which comes off on Saturday [today], November 16, 2019, at the Accra International Conference.
