Mike Tyson: Boxing legend forecasts result of his fight against Floyd Mayweather

Mike "Iron" Tyson and Floyd "Money" Mayweather are unarguably two big names to have graced the boxing stage with grandeur of championship, social prestige and the financial strength to prove it.

The two boxing legends have, however, been entangled in public spat over greatest-of-all-time debate after Mayweather boastfully posited he was greater than Muhammed Ali - a claimed Tyson dusted off saying the 43-year-old "is very delusional."

But despite the feud between them, the former heavyweight champions and former WBC welterweight and junior middleweight champion always accord themselves mutual respect.

The pair bumped into each other at a WBC convention in Las Vegas and to the surprise of the guests the 53-year-old legend walked down to where Mayweather was and showered him with the famous right hand greeting.

Also speaking with the Wall Street Journal, Tyson was subsequent full of praise for the American legendary pugilist while admitting it would be hard to beat "the money" if they were to throw towels into the ring.

"It's really hard to beat him, " Mike Tyson confessed.

"I don't care. It's really hard to beat him. The style he deploys -- it's really difficult to beat him in that particular style. I don't care. Love him or hate him, he's a hard man to beat," the boxing legend submitted.

And when asked how he would have beaten the American if they were to meet in their prime, the 53-year-old said he would be ruthless and dirty.

Mike also noted his fight with Mayweather would not not have happened because they did not fight in the same weight division.

"We can never fight, of course, because of the weight difference, but I wouldn't fight him the way they fought him.

"I would be mean, I would be dirty. Because you'd have to do everything to fight him because he's just so good," Iron Mike said.
