Stop prosecuting youth who use 'wee' - Ras Kuuku

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku, has called on government to stop arresting and jailing the youth who use 'wee'

Our Manifesto: This is what believes in

According to the 'Wo' hitmaker, it is important that government legalizes the use of 'wee' and finds ways of regulating its usage instead of arresting those who use it.

In an interview on Happy FM, Ras Kuuku said if Africans and Europeans have the same level of wisdom, why is it taking so long for countries in the African continent to legalize the use of 'wee'.

“The European’s wisdom is equal to that of the African. But how come they’ve legalised weed and mental illness has not increased because of the use of ‘wee’. This is a misconception we need to clear. ‘wee’ doesn’t cause mental illness,” Ras Kuuku said.

“For a President who swept to power on the back of anti-corruption, it has been disappointing watching the canker deepen with constant outbreak of scandals.

He hasn’t provided the no-nonsense, all-action leadership against corruption that we were promised.

I honestly cannot recollect one instance where any corruption case was seriously tackled with So corruption for me has been a major downside of this government,” she tweeted.
