Akosua Agyapong: Veteran singer marks 50th birthday with Ampadu, others (video)

Veteran Ghanaian musician Akosua Agyapong has marked her birthday and she has celebrated in grand style.

The veteran singer who is also known for dancing skills on stage turned a year older on Sunday. November 17, 2019.

Born in 1969, Akosua Agyapong attained the milestone of 50 years and she decided to celebrate with a party.

Videos from the party show it was a plush and lively event which truly celebrated the Frema hitmaker.

In one of the videos sighted by YEN.com.gh, there was a live band playing Bless' Chochomucho while Akosua and some ladies danced in a choreography.

Just as it is usual with her, Akosua got her dance moves so on point and one would wonder if she is the 50-year-old being celebrated.

Akosua was ably supported by veteran Highlife musician Nana Kwame Ampadu and the two performed together.

A part of the video also has some children singing a happy birthday song for Akosua.

In other news, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's firstborn daughter just won a songwriting award for contributing to her mom’s track Brown Skin Girl which was featured in the Lion King album.

Blue took home the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award, which also credits her parents as co-writers at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards on Sunday, November 17.
