Information gathered by YEN.com.gh has it that the government has signed a deal for the acquisition of six aircraft.
The deal was reportedly sighted with De Havilland Aircraft Company of Canada at the 2019 Dubai Air Show which is currently ongoing.
This was sighted by YEN.com.gh in a report on Citinewsroom.com.
The signing of the deal is in line with the government’s quest to establish a new national airline.
The Minister of Aviation, Joseph Kofi Addah, signed the deal on behalf of the government and is expected to ensure the national airline starts operations soon

Meanwhile, some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have embarked on a nationwide wedding campaign.
This follows an earlier report that Mahama himself has weeded a bushy area in Accra.
The NDC members say they will continue to weed every first week of the month until Mahama is restored to power in 2020.
