German investor to build cocoa processing plant in Suhum - German Ambassador to Ghana

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was reported to be on an 8-day visit to 3 countries, one of which is Germany.

Per the statement released from the presidency, the president was to attend a conference in Germany upon his arrival there.

Out of that conference the president attended, the German Ambassador to Ghana, Christoph Retzlaff has revealed that a German investor would build a cocoa processing plant in Suhum in the Eastern region.

He added that there would be about 1500 jobs created by this and other initiative like investment in DTRT textile factory.

He however did not state when this factories would be established.

James believes it is good news.

Kweku believes it is a great initiative.

Gudfred was more critical. He believes it the long term most of the returns goes back to Germany.
