Ghanaians unhappy with Ban Ki Moon's comment on improved economy

The former United Nations chief, Ban Ki Moon, has stated that under the leadership of Akufo-Addo, Ghana is making strides in economic development.

Mr. Moon stated that per IMF's prediction, Ghana would have almost 7% annual growth which according to him, is commendable.

He made this known when he paid a courtesy call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee house.

YEN.com.gh, however, sought to solicit responses from Ghanaians on the comments made by the former UN chief.

A section of Ghanaians appears not to be so happy with the comments by the former UN chief.

Clara said the great economic improvement is not reflecting in the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.

Kwaku said any government that comes gets heaped with praises.

Derrick asked if that is the kind of improvement the people in his country are experiencing.

Qriss said very soon, Ghana would be taken over and ruled by foreigners.
