Asamoah Gyan scores 4 goals in 45 minutes on the eve of his 34th birthday

Former Black Stars Asamoah Gyan showed he is still prolific scorer as he scored four goals in a match for his Indian side, NorthEast United.

Asamoah Gyan scored four goals in the first half in NorthEast United's 11-1 win over Gorkha Shillong in a friendly.

Gyan who is the Black Stars' all-time top scorer got his first goal of the game on the 15th-minute mark.

Six minutes later Gyan converted a spot-kick for his second goal of the game and put NorthEast 3-1 ahead.

The former Sunderland striker scored two quickfire goals in the last two minutes of the game to end the first half 6-1 in favour of his side. He scored his third and fourth goals in the 43rd and 45th minutes respectively.

Gyan was substituted after the recess and he watched the second half from the bench as his colleagues added five more goals to end the game 11-1.

It must be noted that Gyan's goals came on the eve of his 34th birthday which happens to be November 22, 2019.

Gyan has already scored twice for NorthEast in four league games so far putting them third on the league table with eight points.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, the first of Gyan's league goals for NorthEast which was scored against Odisha earned him a man-of-the-match award.
