Maame Yeboah Asiedu tells why she left UTV; says she was not sacked (Video)

- Former UTV presenter Maame Yeboah Asiedu has told why she left UTV for Adom TV

- She said it was time for her to move on stressing that she was never sacked

- Asiedu said she is too big to be sacked by any boss and that she resigned herself

- She disclosed having worked with UTV for close to six years

Former UTV presenter, Maame Yeboah Asiedu, has spoken on why she left UTV after working there for close to six years.

According to her, she felt the time has come to move on, therefore, she resigned.

Yeboah also refuted widespread rumours that she was sacked by the Despite Group.

This is contained in a video seen by YEN.com.gh in which Delay interviewed the TV personality.

She said: “Who can sack me? Do I look like one of those people who can be sacked? I was the biggest on that TV and the pedigree I have can never make anyone sack me. No boss can fire me.”

“The bosses there themselves know I can’t be fired. I left, I resigned as in sending them my resignation letter,” Maame Yeboah stressed.

She was answering a question from Delay on whether it was true that she was sacked.

Yeboah also said as a visionary person, she would not pay attention to hear-says because people would talk and draw conclusions about things they don’t know.

She explained that nobody expected her to leave UTV, therefore, her departure was sure to have caused tongues to wag.

Meanwhile, Yeboah is now with Adom TV after leaving UTV.

According to her, she is far better off at her new offer than when she was at UTV.

She was the host of talk shows for their telenovelas.
