Popular dancehall musician Shatta Wale has called out all entertainment pundits who have criticised his Grammy nomination news.

According to the Shatta Movement boss, it is wrong for anyone to count him out of associating himself with the prestigious award.

In a video that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale expressed disappointment in those claiming he should take credit for Beyonce's nomination.

"So if Black Stars play a match and Asamoah Gyan scores goal for the team to win the cup, will you say the cup is for only Asamoah Gyan?" Shatta Wale quizzed.

Shatta Wale went on to jab blogger Ameyaw Debrah who explained that the SM boss should not take the Grammy credit.

He claimed some Ghanaians do not like him and had wanted Sarkodie to rather get such a prestige nomination.

The 'Gringo' hitmaker's comment follows a brouhaha that ensued in the media after Beyonce's album was nominated for the Grammys.

After the announcement, some section of Shatta Wale's fans claims that Beyonce's nomination means Shatta Wale has also been nominated.

The issue turned into a saga as the likes of Ameyaw Debrah noted that Shatta Wale cannot count the phenomenon as a nomination since he did not contribute 51% on the album.
