The Ghanaian players are competing with other African players like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan and other big stars from the continent.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the official list for the award on Sunday, November 24.
The Black Stars of Ghana were kicked out of the AFCON in Egypt in the round of 16. Ghana lost to Tunisia on penalties.
Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew have been fantastic in the year under review for both their clubs and the senior national team.
Also Ghana female player who plays in China, Elizabeth Addo is also in contention for honours at the 2019 CAF Awards Gala.
The trio are the only Ghanaian players nominated by the continental football's governing body, CAF.
Partey and Ayew are among 30 players announced for the men's African Player of the Year.
The prolific goal scorer was celebrated by family, friends and loved ones on his special day.
