Popular Ghanaian actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has stressed that making a marriage work is not about love alone.
According to her, there must be money, but still, the money is not expected to be made by the man or husband alone.
She believes women also need to make money and be hardworking, which makes the marriage sweeter and successful.

McBrown explained that a man may love his wife very much, but when the woman is lazy and brings nothing to the table, the love would fall short.
“Love doesn’t make people happy; there is love, however a man might love you and yet be unable to provide for you.”
“Also, a man might love you but because you are lazy to work, his love for you might fall short,” she stressed.

She added that from her personal experience, when a woman has money, she has joy in her heart and this adds to the joy in the marriage.
“The secret is that as a woman you have to be hardworking. You have to work. Because one thing I know is that when a woman has money, she is always happy within her heart,” the actress said.
She summed her words up saying: “So if you are hardworking and the man adds a little bit of love, then you become satisfied.”
Meanwhile, McBrown is one of Ghana’s most successful actresses and media personalities.
She is married to Maxwell Mensah and they have a baby girl together.
The actress gave birth at age 42 after nearly five years of marriage.
