Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that the Founder and leader of True Word Fire Prophetic Ministries (TWFPM), Prophet Nigel Gaisie has been named among persons who have defaulted in the payment of loans by the Student Loan Trust Foundation (SLTF).

He was captured with student ID 10232543 from the University of Ghana City campus where he took the loan to support his education.
Documents sighted by YEN.com.gh, shows that the amount and its accrued interest started from March 23, 2009 and as at November 25, 2019 he was yet to clear himself.
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations Unit of the SLTF, George Ferguson Laing has justified the decision by the Fund to publish names of defaulters indicating that it is yielding the needed results.
According to the SLTF,, more than 55,000 people owe the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) GH¢75 million.
Out of the number, about 35,000 have made some form of payment, leaving more than 20,000 who have not paid anything at all, after the two-year grace period for repayment elapsed.
In order news, the Deputy National Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eric Edem Agbana has threatened to take legal action against the Student Loan Trust Fund for mentioning him as one of the defaulters.
The management of Student Loan Trust Fund on November 21, 2019, made public the first batch of loan defaulters whose arrears dated as far back as 2010.
In a series of posts on his Facebook posts dated November 25, 2019, Agbana disputed the credibility of the list and stated emphatically that he does not owe SLTF and will not sweep the issue under the carpet as a mere mistake.
