Reports about Esi Quarshie, a female Ghanaian nurse who died together with two other persons following an accident at Juasu near Konongo in the Ashanti region have dominated social media.

Esi Quarshie and the two other unidentified men were reportedly involved in a ghastly car crash on November 21, 2019.

YEN.com.gh first sighted the story when a social media user shared a photo in a Facebook page to mourn her demise.

''Esi Quarshie was my classmate in high school. We shared a desk together. All our mates said she was my soulmate so they've been calling us couples till date. We had no option than to play along even though it was merely for humor. We fight, we make up... rinse repeat. ♻,'' he revealed.

He further stated: ''She was involved in a ghastly accident early this morning at Juaso (near Konongo) together with two others (also my friends) who are all deceased now.

I love u Esi. You've broken my heart into shreds today. Till we meet again... Goodbye my wife. Teary-eyed! ♂.''

Maame Abena Quarshie, another social media user shared heart-breaking photos of the deceased on Facebook.

News about Esi Quarshie’s death on social media have sent shock waves across online.

Some friends have also sent emotional messages to mourn Quarshie’s demise.

Meanwhile, for 15 years, Da Esi has been ensuring that lifeless bodies are well preserved till families are ready for the burial and final funeral rites.

Ghanaweb writes that on the job, she is required to have almost surgical knowledge of the human body, while also having the skills of a counsellor to deal with grieving families.

Da Esi, a female mortuary worker opened up on what it is like dealing with dead bodies all day in an interview with KSM on the 'KSM Show'.
