Samira thanks health professionals for saving her life after she blacked out at event

- The Second Lady Samira Bawumia has opened up on what caused her blackout at an event

Samira Bawumia had earlier blacked out at an event held by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) when she was delivering her speech.

In a new post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Samira has opened up on what happened to her.

According to her, the room in which the event was being held was too hot and she was down by the heat.

However, the timely intervention of the health professionals saved her from any serious implications.

It is for this reason that Samira has thanked the health professionals who acted promptly to save her life.

She wrote on Instagram: “I am grateful to the professionals present, for their timely intervention after I succumbed to the heat at the conference venue. Thank you all for the well-wishes.(3/3).”

Her post has garnered massive responses from Ghanaians with many of them wishing her well.

Jean and Biscoff, for instance, thanked God for the Second Lady:

Efya also thanked God for Samira:

There are other comments showing how Ghanaians love the Second Lady.

According to the report by YEN.com.gh, she was reading her speech when she stopped, coughed and asked for water.

After taking the water, Samira complained of dizziness, and a few minutes later, she was seen going down.

The Second Lady was also in the news recently for her beautiful yellow and green combination she did to an event.
