Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has slammed entertainment journalists, bloggers and stakeholders in the industry for contributing to the country's miss in the 2019 CNN top 10 African music stars list.
According to Shatta Wale, stakeholders and gatekeepers in the industry who are supposed to be interested in pushing the Ghanaian music industry, only concern themselves with talking about people's private lives.
In a Facebook post, the 'Melissa' hitmaker also commended all the African acts who made it onto the list.
He took to his Facebook page to share the Tweet and added his words to it.
“Now Ghana music industry you see how stupid you people are? All you guys care about is people personal lives and not our professional lives (music) ..Now your artiste you paint to people no deh here , me too anode there..You see how you fool ..congrats to these arts ..You just made me proud and me alone I say !!! Any station that discuss this should bow their ugly faces in shame,” Shatta Wale posted.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh also reported that Shatta Wale earlier stated that dashing one of the awards he won at the recent 4Syte Music Video Awards to Stonebwoy was not only an act of love but was a business move as well.
Shatta Wale said he chose the 2019 4Syte Music Video Awards event to display his love for the 'Ololo' hitmaker.
In an interview on Joy Prime and monitored by YEN.com.gh, the 'Nikki Samonas' singer said he did not see the need to continue beefing with Stonebwoy since he does not hate him (Stonebwoy).
