Kelvyn Boy says he's making more money after leaving Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Dancehall act, Kelvyn Boy, says since he left Stonebwoy's camp, he has been making more money and getting more gigs.

Kelvyn Boy was sacked from Stonebwoy's Burnition Music Group in September 2019.

Since that happened, fans of Stonebwoy have been taking Kelvyn Boy to the cleaners on social media with every opportunity they get.

But it seems the 'Loko' hitmaker is not disturbed about the insults on social media.

In an interview on Starr FM monitored by, Kelvyn Boy said the more he gets bashed by Stonebwoy fans on social media, the more shows he get to play and the more money he makes.

He therefore went on to say that he considers the insults, name-calling and social media trolling as "blessings in disguise."

“It’s always like that, and ever since that negative energy and that negative comments started coming, I’m getting shows, I’m getting on, I’m seeing money, I’m progressing and I’m seeing success. So, I feel like negative and positive when put together gives power," Kelvyn Boy disclosed.

However, others have also associated Kelvyn Boy 'blessings' to the fact that he is being managed by Blakk Cedi who was also with Stonebwoy's camp until he was kicked out recently. reported that Stonebwoy had cut all ties with his former manager Blakk Cedi and has reportedly unfollowed him on Instagram.

Blakk Cedi is alleged to have also unfollowed Stonewboy, showing that he also does not probably want to have anything to do with him.

This comes after Stonebwoy sacked Blakk Cedi and said he was now his agent and not a manager.
