The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer turns 61 years old today, November 29, 2019.
John Dramani Mahama is a politician who rose through the ranks and became President of Ghana from July 24, 2012, to January 7, 2017.

Prior to becoming the first gentleman on the land, Mr. Mahama was Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi in the Northern Region from 1997 to 2009.
He also became Communications Minister from 1998 to 2001.
He is also vying to become president again in the 2020 election on the ticket of the NDC.
He is married to Lordina Mahama and they have five children - Shafik, Shahid, Sharaf, Jesse and Farida.
On his 61st birthday, former first lady, Lordina Mahama, took to social media to celebrate her husband. She counted herself lucky for being married to Mr Mahama.
Ghanaians also took to social media to wish the ex-president well.
