Producers of Cindy and Lele tomato pastes have recalled it’s products on the Ghanaian market.
According to Rabaj Company Limited, it has identified an anomaly in some of the Lele and Cindy products on the market.
The management of the company in a statement issued on Friday, November 29, 2019, said: “we have identified an anomaly is a particular batch and we think the prudent thing to do is to recall all the batches in circulation”.
The company also apologized for the inconvenience and urged even individuals who in their possession the two products to return them to the distribution points or where they bought them from.
“We are urging all our key distributors and retailers of the two brands to stay calm as we take this very important assignment in the interest of the general public and the company as a whole.”
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Afrobarometer Survey of the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD) has revealed that President Nana Akufo-Addo is leading the country in the “wrong direction”.
According to the survey, 59% (six in 10) of Ghanaians say Ghana is going in the wrong direction.
