Trapped in a man's body; 35-year-old Ghanaian transgender breaks the internet with 'her' story (video)

Born a male, 35-year-old Ghanaian transgender, Maxwell Okyere Opoku now Angel Maxine, tells her story in an attempt to explain a decision to become a woman.

Maxine explains the complexities of 'her' paradigm or mindset that tells 'her' she is a woman trapped in a man’s body.

From Koforidua in the Ashanti region, 35-year-old Maxine attended Ghana Secondary School and later studied Food and Beverage Management at Koforidua Polytechnic.

Maxine proceeded to pursue a course in Food Safety and Nutrition at the University of Ghana and then later at the Regional Maritime University.

The Ghanaian male-turned-female sat for an interview at Okay FM with Halifax Ansah Addo.

Maxine reveals he has been hiding his true identity right from childhood until he turned 32 years when he decided to own his sexuality and personality.

In the interview, Maxine also disclosed he still has his male reproductive organ when he was asked whether or not he has a manhood.

Meanwhile, in a very emotional but powerful revelation, Precious Mensah aka PM, winner of the 2019dance reality TV show for plus-size women, has recounted how men have weaponised the social stigma of obesity against her.

The Di Asa season 3 winner revealed in an interview how men have been unfair to her in matters of love and relationships.

Precious Mensah also disclosed that most men come into her life only to play around with her because of her size.
